What is a Day of the Dead pet memorial video?
It is a short AI video inspired by the Day of the Dead for pets. From one photo, our AI places your dog or cat in a Día de Muertos scene — a road of marigold petals, a candlelit ofrenda — and gently animates it: your pet walking toward you, ears lifting, tail wagging, petals drifting in the air.
It is made to be watched on October 27, shared with the people who loved them too, or played on a tablet on your pet ofrenda.
The video is AI-generated from your photo. AI can slightly change markings, expressions or movement, which is why you see a free preview first and every video includes one free re-creation.
Why October 27?
In the Día de los Muertos calendar, pets come home first: October 27 is the Day of the Dead for pets, a few days before November 1–2. Many families share a photo or video of their pet that day.

Scenes
Marigold Bridge
Your pet walks toward you along a glowing road of cempasúchil petals — the classic image of coming home on October 27.
The Ofrenda
Your pet beside a candlelit home altar with marigolds and papel picado, looking up as if they just arrived.
A Gentle Guide
Your pet walks through a marigold field beside a softly glowing Xoloitzcuintli, the dog who guides souls home.
Candlelight
A quiet, close portrait: your pet resting among candles and marigolds, breathing softly and looking at you.
Gentle and original: no skeletons, no skulls, no film characters.
Choosing the best photo
- Face visible. Eyes and nose clear, not turned away.
- Good light. Daylight or a bright room; avoid heavy filters.
- One pet, whole head. Leave a little space around them; no people in the photo.
- Sharp, not tiny. At least 600 pixels wide. Screenshots of old photos work too.
