Acceptable use policy

Updated

Day of the Dead for Pets turns a photo of a pet into an AI-generated Día de Muertos memorial image and video. This policy applies to every photo you upload and everything the tool creates for you. It is part of our terms of service.

1. What the tool is for

Remembering an animal you loved. You upload one photo of a dog, cat or other pet and choose one of our scenes. You cannot type your own prompts: every scene description is written by us, and the AI models we use (Nano Banana 2 for images and Kling 3.0 for video, see AI models) only place your pet into that scene.

2. Prohibited content

You may not upload, or try to create, any of the following:

  1. Pornography or sexual content of any kind (NSFW).
  2. Violence or gore, including injured, dead or abused animals shown in a graphic way.
  3. Hate speech or symbols that attack people for who they are.
  4. Child-unsafe content. Any sexual content involving minors (CSAM) is reported to the authorities.
  5. Deepfakes and impersonation. No photos of people, no face swaps, no making a real person appear to say or do something. The tool is for animals only.
  6. Copyright or trademark infringement, such as photos you have no right to use, or film characters, logos and brands.

Automated, bulk or resale use of the tool is also not allowed.

3. Your photos

Upload only a photo you took yourself or have permission to use, showing your own pet and no people. Before every upload you confirm this with a checkbox. Permission never makes prohibited content allowed.

4. How we moderate

  • Fixed prompts: users cannot write prompts, so the AI only receives our own scene descriptions of a pet in a Día de Muertos setting.
  • Your confirmation: before every upload you confirm that the photo is yours to use, shows your own pet and no people.
  • Model safety filters: the AI models we use have their own built-in safety systems and refuse many kinds of prohibited content.
  • Human review: a person reviews every report we receive and acts on it as described below.
  • No public gallery: results are private to you and never published by us.
  • We keep records of reports and the action taken for as long as needed to enforce this policy.

5. Reporting

If you see content made with our tool that breaks this policy, or that uses a photo of you or your pet without permission, email support@dayofthedeadforpets.com with the subject “Report” and the link, if you have it. We reply within 2 business days and act within 24 hours on anything involving children. Reports are kept confidential.

6. What we do about violations

  • Stop the generation and delete the content.
  • Block the pass, device or network involved.
  • Keep unused credits from packs bought to break this policy.
  • Report child-safety and other criminal content to the authorities.

If you think we made a mistake, reply to our message or email us within 14 days and someone who was not involved in the first decision will look at it again.

7. Changes

We will post changes on this page and update the date above.
